SAC-SQUATCH SCOTCH
ALE –We’ve been brewing our Scotch Ale since we opened in
1995 and it has enjoyed a steady devoted following of “experienced”
beer aficionados. Using smoked peat malt to produce an extremely roasty,
big bodied, high alcohol ale (7%), its flavor and strength can be over
powering for the uninitiated (not unlike the flavor of scotch whiskey).
Finally, this past winter we gave our Scotch Ale an identity all its
own dubbing it the “The Sac-Squatch”, put it in a 22oz.
bottle and gave it its own distinctive hairy tap handle (first one of
it’s kind we know of). So tangle with this creature if you must,
but don't blame us if you feel a little furry in the morning.
